Launch Night

We officially launched on February 22nd 2007. Pontesbury is the last selected Broadplace in Shropshire, and we were launched by our local Member of Parliament Daniel Kawczynski MP . In consulation with the steering Group, the launch became a virtual event, and demonstrated the level of communications which will now be available to us. Daniel was connected to the Broadplace by webcam, and quickly began to speak to us, even suggesting the technology would allow MP's surgeries and lobbying direct to Westminster.
